I just received a question today asking what day should we worship God.
[MY RESPONSE]
We can worship God everyday (Acts 2:46) BUT there is a day, a very special that God blessed and sanctified, the 7th day which is Saturday.
So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation. (Gen. 2:3, ESV)
On this day God commanded that all should gather together to worship HIM.
You have six days in which to do your work, but remember that the seventh day, the Sabbath, is a day of rest. On that day do not work, but gather for worship. The Sabbath belongs to the LORD, no matter where you live. (Lev. 23:3, GNB)
This was also the practice of the early Christians.
"... and on the Sabbath they went into the synagogue and sat down..."Fellow Israelites and all Gentiles here who worship God: hear me!" (Acts 13:14,16, GNB)
I hope that my response is clear. Thank you and God bless!
